Special Greetings,
As you all know, February traditionally is our annual dinner in which members can come together in a convivial setting, have a wonderful dinner filled with conversation with our friends, and perform our official installation of our “new”officers, a ceremony officiated by our Mayor.
This social event will be held on the evening of Thursday, February 16th, with minimal official business. As we did last year, we have not scheduled a guest speaker.
Participation is limited to the first forty-five reservations that we receive; in the past this has gone as high as fifty-five. There are no exceptions to this limitation. This is a limitation necessitated by space constraints, not choice.
Currently there is no County Health Department COVID mandate requiring that a mask be worn when gathering indoors. However, the Society and Giorgio’s will observe whatever requirements that apply at the day of the event. If public health developments require cancellation of our event, the Treasurer will promptly return your reservation payments.
So, if there is an opening in your schedule, and if you are comfortable with the current situation, then please join us on the evening of February 16th at our traditional annual dinner meeting.
The details of the event are described in the attached announcement.
